Re: Shingeki no Kyojin [SPOILERS]

No, by all means, rant away. I'm so pissed off about this, mainly because it makes no fucking sense, like you say. It doesn't tie into ANY of what we've seen so far about the Ackermans.
I think Kenny's "liege" was supposed to be whatsisname, the guy he worked for (blanking atm). But like you say, it doesn't really fit in, because Kenny seemed to mostly be doing what he wanted. And like you say, we saw Levi's 'powers' when he was a kid, so just... what.

See, what gets me about the drama is ok, maybe they didn't think Armin would survive. But this could have been a really meaningful opportunity for communication and character development, but instead people shouted some stuff and then Levi had a flashback. It was so lazily done.

It's obvious Armin is Isayama's darling, though... and really, the way this series is going, I don't actually care much about them seeing the stupid ocean. It's such a minor issue right now. It would have been way braver to actually break up the whole "golden trio" thing.

....feel free to rant more if you want, I have a lot of annoyance at the current chapters.
