Good Omens. I honestly don't know how you could find anyone to fit Crowley and Aziraphale.

Well the guy from Lucifer would be a good Crowley. That is the problem with adapting Good Omens though, Lucifer has already hit most of its thematic notes.

I would love a Good Omens movie to little bitty bits, but it seems like there's some disagreement about what Aziraphale looks like, so no matter who they cast, some people would be mad.

I'm very surprised no one has tried to make The Bartimaeus Trilogy into a movie.

Also, Artemis Fowl. Even though apparently it's just very slow going.

I am so far out of date on actors that all the ones I'd pick are at least ten-twenty years too old for any roles, but I wouldn't mind seeing Rivers of London books adapted. Or those Martin Millar "Lonley Werewolf Girl" books turned into a 90s era Japanese anime.

I'd really like the first animated Doctor Who movie to be an adaptation of the Virgin New Adventures Novel "Sky Pirates!. That I would get to the cinema to see.

I'm rereading Special Topics in Calamity Physics and I so want a 4-part miniseries of this (Masterpiece Mystery, maybe? They need to start producing their own stuff instead of just using everything England does). I've never really dream-casted it, since so many of the parts are teenagers and I think would do best with unknowns, but for the adults maybe Anne Hathaway for Hannah (I realize there's a LOT of baggage with AH, but I think she could get the mysterious-warmth-crazy of Hannah) and Christoph Waltz for Blue's dad.

While we've got all these historial/fantasy series happening lately, I'd love if somebody turned Megan Whalen Turner's Queen's Thief books into a series. There's a lot of meat there for people who like their medieval/renaissance politicking with bonus gods/myth/magic.

The Tales of the Otori books, especially the first one. I have never had such strong imagery in my head asI had while reading that book.

Really crappy books, but the story behind the bad writing is kind of fun. I'd like to see R.A Salvatore's "Echoes of the Fourth Magic" as a mini series.

World War Z mini-series or TV show on HBO. Directed by Steven Spielberg.

... but Keira Knightley and Monica Belucci are getting to old by now. (Vincent Cassel or Sean Bean as Delaunay and ScaJo as the Princess Ysandre would still work though. And Adam Driver as Drustan.)

If they can give us blue aliens in Avatar then they can give us Andalites, Yeerks and Hork-Bajir.

Books: A Darker Shade of Magic by V E Schwab or A Thousand Pieces of You by Claudia Gray. Not sure who I would put in charge of it or actors, I haven't thought that much lately, but I might now.

Robin McKinley's Sunshine - I want it as a miniseries. With properly gruesome and terrifying vampires, and The Rock playing Mel, and Helen Mirren as Yolande, and Brenda Song as Sunshine. Looking like the early seasons of Supernatural mixed with something colorful for the scenes at Charlie's.

Mira Grant's Newsflesh trilogy. Not sure about actors, but I think the pacing would translate really well to a show or miniseries.

Cliche by now but I would really love an HBO series of the Silmarillion with Game of Thrones level budgeting.

Maybe starting with the Helcaraxe and following those characters, because I can't really see anyone pulling off Feanor. Gondolin would be fantastic - Ecthelion and Glorfindel vs Balrog's in the final battle, all the intrigue and so on. The battle with the Fingolfin vs Morgoth fight would be amazing. Or as someone else mentioned before, just the Akallabeth could make a great show.

Scott Westerfeld's Leviathan trilogy would make an amazing TV show! Don't know who I would cast, but if I won the lottery...

I've always wondered what would happen if Spike Lee made a movie version of Burnt Njal and set it in Detroit.

The Waterfire books by Jennifer Donnelly are entertaining trash, but I still want to see them on the big screen or animated or something.

Sholom Auslander's Beware Of God. For the story with the Rabbi and the Golem, I want Jason Segel to be the Golem and Radnor for the Rabbi.
