Re: Non-fandom secrets

Last night I fell asleep on the couch and didn't want to move. my partner took the blanket off our bed and slept on the floor next to me, without any mattress or anything, all night.
I've been trying to find it romantic all day but I don't know if I can.

If not romantic, it is very sweet, and that counts for something.

Does it matter or not if you see it as romantic? Unless they're going to be offended if you laugh and call them a dork for sleeping on the floor just because you fell asleep on the couch.

So? Why do you have to see it as romantic? Personally, I see it as a slightly melodramatic gesture. Maybe it made your partner feel noble, but it didn't actually do anything for you, clearly.
