People who pass me on non-highway/interstates, when I'm already going the speed limit or a little above. I especially hate the ones who zip in front of you, only to immediately turn off and save themselves all of two seconds. I mean, I get annoyed behind slow drivers, too, but if someone is going the speed limit or a little above, cool your fucking tits.

Unnecessarily fast drivers are the worst fucking people.

Especially in parking lots and residential areas.

This ain't your personal speedway, people. I know the road is long but fuck you if you think your time is more important than everyone else's.

That reminds me of Queensland drivers. As my Mum has said in the past, every region has it's driving culture, and NSW will stake their life on the quality of their brakes (speed demons, in other words), but Queenslanders will risk their life to be that one spot ahead.

The part I like best: we end up side by side at the next light. I always like to wave at them. Assholes.

Haha saaame. And that seems to happen like 90% of the time. When there are stoplights at every block you just look ridiculous trying to speed fast through it all.

See, when I do that it's not because the person in front of me is going too slow. It's because they can't pick a speed and commit to it. If they want to go 50mph, that's fine. But if theyre shifting back and forth between 43 and and 58 constantly, then yes, I'm going to pass their ass and drive behind someone who knows how to drive.

Uhh no you have no reason to pass someone who is going at least the speed limit. They are allowed to fluctuate their speed, you should learn how to adjust accordingly. If you can't, it's you who needs to learn how to drive.

nayrt

My reason is that I don't want to be trapped behind someone who's driving erratically. I can certainly adjust my speed, but the fact that they can't control their rate of acceleration might also mean their reflexes and judgment in other areas are poor. If they get some random urge to slam on the brakes and I can't stop in time, I'll be held liable even though they're a terrible driver.

Your first sentence doesn't even make any sense. If you want to go faster thanthe person ahead of you, that's a good enough reason to pass them.

DA -- Absolutely. No one should have to follow an erratic driver just because that person doesn't like people passing them. As long as it's legal to pass, then get away from the terrible drivers before they cause an accident and blame you for not being psychic.

My husband does this and it makes me insane.
