I think you have a good point here. The movies strongly imply that wearing only underwear in hypersleep is the standard practice. The top left picture is from Aliens, while all the other pictures come from the end of Alien. The scene in Alien consists of her preparing the sleep pod in the lifeboat and IMO, does not have her walking around in an overtly "sexy" manner. The Aliens scene (waking up when the ship gets to LB426) is even less sexual in behaviour.

Neither of these scenes ever struck me as "sexy", though credit where due, in Alien, the creature soon reveals that it's got onto the lifeboat, and the scene in Aliens the scene includes a dozen marines also waking up (with Ripley arguably depicted as having a more dignified recovery than most of them).
