Not to defend the article, but in the US, "Jewish" isn't a race. Most Jewish people are considered white. Religious minority =/= racial minority.

nayrt

Jewish may not be a race, but it is an ethnicity. Jews are not just "people who practice a religion", they are a diasporic ethnic group of Middle Eastern origin, have always been distinct from white Europeans, have only recently come to be considered white in the US, and are still not considered white in Europe. And even within most of the US, Jews are still racialized to an extent that other "white" minorities are not.

But I guess all that is a little too complex and nuanced for SJWs to grasp.

Except for the ones who are black. Or Latino. Or Asian. Or white and of European origin.

Judaism is a non-proselytizing religion, but there are still a significant number of converts, both now and historically.

Speaking as someone who grew up Jewish, honestly to claim that it's an ethnicity is ridiculous. Semite is an ethnicity but that's not the same thing at all. Anybody of any race or ethnicity can be Jewish.

As a person from Europe, no. They are, and have always been considered white.

Try telling that to the Nazis.

Another European anon here: Please stop applying US issues with race and the distinction between "white" and "non-white" people on European countries. It doesn't work the same way here.
