I can find the psychological side of dealing with rape, slavery and torture, especially in a sensible H/C setting, very gratifying. But straight up torture porn focusing on the outer aspects rather than the internal is tedious and off putting. (The Silence of the Lambs is great, Hostel is right between yawn and puke.)
