Who is your fandom bicycle?

Or, alternatively, what do you think of your fandom's bicycle?

All I have are fandom bicycles. I latch onto one character and ship them with everyone. So the list is long.

Steve Rogers, Loki, Stiles Stilinski, Daryl Dixon, John Watson, Charles Xavier, Leonard McCoy, Spike, Castiel. Those are the ones I can think of right now.

I think a fandom bicycle is a character who gets along well with or at least has (positive or negative) chemistry with pretty much every other character.

For example, in Mad Men, my fandom bicycle is Ken Cosgrove. He's a well-liked secondary character who is witty and charming and hardworking without being scummy like most other characters on the show. He's also in scenes with everyone on the main and secondary casts, so he's compatible with both the men and women. He's also one of the few characters who lasted from episode one until the finale, so that gives me the entire run of the show to work with as well.

I even wrote a 10 chapter fic based on this analysis!: http://archiveofourown.org/works/3696671/chapters/8178266

This is how I tend to use and view that term, too.

And if we're going by THAT definition, well, in the "Criminal Minds" fandom, I've noticed I can pair Reid or Emily up fairly easily with most other characters :). Morgan, too, I think he's, like, third on my "most shipped" character list from that show.

Mind, many fans pair those characters up with multiple people (especially Reid and Emily), so not exactly like I'm alone in that one :p.

Back when Enterprise was on, Trip was my fandom bicycle. I mainly only shipped him with T'pol and Malcolm, but I felt like he went well with everyone.

I haven't had a bicycle since then, just OTPs and closed OT3s.

Generally, my waifu/husbando in any fandom is also my fandom bicycle. This being the case, my number one fandom bicycle is my number one husbando, Valmont from Jackie Chan Adventures.

If I think back to my Elf-slash days, Elrond definitely. Faramir was not though.

I could read Thor or Steve with almost anyone. Also Mairon/Sauron. Spike from Buffy. Regina on Once Upon a Time even though I'm not actually in the fandom anymore solely because Lana is hot.

Basically, my fandom bicycle is the one I find hot and want to read about, no matter who they are paired with. I generally will have my OTPs, but some characters are just hot no matter who they are paired with.

Although I do ship the Doctor on Doctor Who with quite a few people and I don't find him hot. I just think he has chemistry with a lot of characters.

Wonder Woman - DC
Garnet (not Ruby and Sapphire) - Steven Universe

Stiles - Teen Wolf
Loki, Daken and Deadpool - Marvel
Levi - SnK

Fandom bicycles: Stiles Stilinski, Dan Humphrey, Bertram Gilfoyle are the first three to come to mind. My bicycle is almost always my favorite character.

Oh, and also Ron Weasley.
