Re: What food would you like to eat again?

This is not really what you're asking but...both my parents and all my grandparents have been dead for quite a few years now and the odd thing is that one of the things that I miss most, that can make me saddest, is their food. I don't even really care about food. It's something you need to survive and I like certain things better than others, but I don't care about new recipes or restaurants or anything like that. But if I could, I'd tell my younger self to learn how to cook exactly how Mom or Dad did, even if Mom apparently wasn't a good cook (objectively) and Dad (and his parents) used way too much grease or butter. And tbh I kind of wonder if the food was actually that great or if it's nostalgia and the fact that it's literally impossible for me to have any of it again. Still, for people who have access to the (decent) people who made the food of their (happy) childhood: ask now.
