I've certainly seen and read ABO fics exploring ABO 'issues' such as unappreciated betas, betas/omegas who want to be more alpha, alpha/alpha and omega/omega (the former frowned on the latter sometimes frowned on sometimes a cultural expectation depending on the fic). Omegas who don't want to be rutfilled subs is pretty common tropes in a trope. Granted, sex at some point is likely to happen but they tend to be big slow burn fics.

Don't think I've ever read an omega topping alpha fic, but then I tend to stick to Avengers fics and don't really stray out of it.

My favourite ABO tropes are the pack ones. Be it naturally turning into a pack or everyone is naturally a pack except one straggler and they try to woo/wait patiently/shrug and accept this individual isn't a pack person.

I don't like the ones that force the outlier to conform. I don't mind the risk of it, but prefer the fics where the cast learn and accept the outlier individual.
