7. I hate her because she's the frakking opposite of the character I knew to love when I read CCS. The writers promise us with great characters we know, only to make them horribly boring and full of melodrama.

39. Do it anyways. Just put in a lot of effort into the costume and you'll do fine.<3

Because in the very first pages of Tsubasa, you couldn't tell that Sakura was going to be the heroin Syaoran would have to rescue, nor that it would be angsty and melodramatic.

No, I clearly recall the prologue being about happy genki little CCS!Sakura capturing cards and making teddy bears.

Regardless of the different story, the CCS character still had more depth and her own downs that made her more interesting. She was a strong, agile character who made mistakes and learned, rather than automatically doing things perfectly or doing nothing at all. :\

Well, CCS!Sakura did pretty much everything right. And TRC!Sakura made mistakes. She's been killed because of them.

And it's an entirely different situation, manga and genre. That needs to be taken into account, too. Being the main character of a shoujo manga where it's the main girl that has to shine the most =/= being the heroin in a shounen manga where the protagonist is a boy. Here she's the love interest and the catalyst to the story, not the one who has to step up and destroy the villains.
