I had Braums for lunch. I am probably going to eat leftover biscuits and gravy for dinner. I am trying to get the energy to make banana bread.

A really good fast food place that serves like three states. They have a farm where they grow their own produce. And have their own cattle farm.

My roommate had extra corn and made me some! So I'm really happy. I'll probably have pasta tonight bc I'm in a lot of pain and want comfort food. Probably some carrots and/or strawberries too. :•)

Went to the farmer's market yesterday and got a bunch of stuff - buttload of tomatoes, some hot peppers, some sweet peppers, some shallots, some basil. Made a really insanely flavorful, spicy arrabiata sauce yesterday and ate that over some mostaccioli. Probably going to cook the rest of the tomatoes and make a big thing of marinara tomorrow with the basil and all.

Don't you just love fresh vegetables in season? They're part of what make life worth living, IMO.

I made chocolate chip cookies and jelly cookies yesterday and if I get motivated tonight, I might make these strawberry cookies.

My parents are cooking dinner at their place, so I'm bringing bread and a canteloupe.

I made some zucchini noodles with sunflower seeds, cracked pepper, rosemary, and parmesan. It was so delicious!!!!! I also have oatmeal bread dough rising to make sandwiches this week, and me and my sisters are going to make tacos tonight!

Someone left free zucchini at church today, so I'm going to make zucchini bread. Mmph, so good.

I have successfully found coconut milk, water morning glory, tofu, ginger, garlic, and a bunch of other ingredients. Gonna make a nice batch of thai curry for the week.

I made sunflower seed cookies that I think are really good. The guy I made them for hasn't really said anything about them though.

We got good Italian sausage at the butchers yesterday so I made scrambled eggs and sausage for brunch today. I served a dry rosé with it. Not bad, but the rosé could've been a bit sweeter.

I defrosted a rib steak to fry for dinner. Then I ran into a bargain on chicken wings at the store that I just couldn't pass up, so I made those instead. I'm going to make the steak into soup that will be safe to freeze.

I have a coupon to the local health store, and they have bunch of local farmed meat. Last time I was there they had beef bones and even though I've never done it I really want to get them and make soup. I keep thinking about it, idk why.

My friends and I had a giant barbecue potluck! There were ribs and chicken, mac and cheese, baked beans, salad, and cobbler. It was delicious.

I had "sharp cheese" KD for supper. Other than having elbow mac instead of straight mac, I didn't find it much different. A bit less of the cheesy I expect from KD, but nothing special.

Just finished the last piece of a homemade baked white chocolate cheesecake topped with fresh strawberry compote. So very tasty. :D
