1. YES. I would love a revival of that kind of music, too. Groups like Franz Ferdinand and the Killers and others of that sort have kinda kickstarted some of that, but it'd be great to see some of that expanded upon further.

2. Yay for Oingo Boingo. I'd definitely love to see more bands like them pop up, for sure. They were fun.

First things first, sending my condolences to you. I very much understand the stress and pain you're going through, and I'm sorry for your loss.

Second, your means of dealing with that is not silly at all. I think that sounds lovely, and I'm very glad that scenario and the character himself been proving so helpful and comforting for you. That's part of what makes fiction so great, that it can help us through tough times :).

So yeah. If that works for you, keep with it as long as you need/want to.
