I lost my dad about four weeks ago now, I completely feel you. I've been doing much the same but for me it's been Aramis from Bbc muskerteers. Considering I'm not religious myself I've been finding the idea of him using his faith to comfort me, comforting. I'm glad it's working for you.

I'm sorry to hear about your dad, losing a parent is like losing a part of yourself, I don't think I'll ever feel like a complete person again...I'm glad you've found something like that to comfort you, too, sometimes it's the only thing that helps. - OP
