Need to find tumblr posts/more info about fandom drama

5 years ago? Chick on LJ/Tumblr had her cats get ill/die from blue buffalo cat food. Many people raised money for her from Taibani and Pokemon fandoms. Later discovered that she took that money and went to a convention where she hooked up with her girlfriend.

I'm either mixing two infamous stories together or it's been buried so deep I can't find it.

If you remember more about this, like tumblr links and whatnot, please share. It's driving me crazy.

I'm paying a jobless friend of my aunt's almost two week's pay to watch my mom for three days so she will be sober enough for long enough to get into a long term sobriety home. I start school tomorrow, but I only have one class and I'm gonna drop mom off at the doctor's on the way and (hopefully) pick her up on the way back. Aunt's friend was like "can you at least afford to pay me gas money?" I told her I'd pay $500-$600, and she said it was too much.

"After day 1, you'll be asking for that much per second." Mom has threatened not to call in and ask about open beds at the care homes, which she has to do every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, threatened to run away and hide in a hotel, and threatened to kill herself, rather than be babysat for three days. She also kept screaming at me to shut up and tried to rip my wrists off for daring to talk about her to someone else.

I wish she could still do inpatient rehab, but she's only allowed to detox in the ER where she could get a transfusion if she started to bleed out, and every time we've gone lately they've triaged her out. Maybe I can get her therapist to see her tomorrow, and if not, she has an appointment with him on Tuesday and Aunt's friend can bring her.
