Duh. I get that. I just think spending your life wallowing in your victimhood is pathetic. Everyone has problems, and some people with very serious problems still manage to not be chronically unhappy.

I don't think that's an accurate representation, at all, of what's going on here. Being aware of, and caring about, injustice in the world is not the same as wallowing in victimhood, or deciding to be unhappy. Taking a critical stance towards entertainment at times is not the same as wallowing in victimhood or deciding to be unhappy. People who do these things are still capable of enjoying entertainment. They're still capable of being happy. They're still capable of taking things lightly and enjoying life. It's a matter of being aware of the larger effects of things and the impact they have on others and having empathy for them.

I mean, Jesus Christ, an idea of happiness that's contingent on being able to enjoy whatever entertainment you like regardless of any other consideration is pretty motherfucking paltry, if you ask me. Jesus Christ. "wallowing in victimhood" my left nipple, what the hell are you talking about "wallowing in victimhood".

It is pretty unfair to imply that spending even a minute of your time pointing out injustice is somehow equivalent to "wallowing in your victimhood" and tbqh I think it contributes to the problem so...good job?
