I'm with you, OP, although now that I think about it, they have two of the most fake personas in show business, so maybe they do belong together. Maybe when they get together they are relieved they can finally put down the masks and reveal their true bitchy natures or their alien underskins or whatever lurks beneath their public Teletubby facades.

I can't imagine what you think I'm jealous of. I'm not attracted to either one of them. I don't think they're very pretty, and their personalities are so plastic like barbie dolls. Even more so than most celebrities. And I'm wealthy and have no desire to be a celebrity in the first place. It doesn't have much to recommend it if you don't want for money and don't want fame.

Or do you think everyone in the world wants fame? How droll.

Now, if I could be anyone in the world other than me...actually, I would just be me, but smarter and in better health.

Yes, exactly! They both realize that they can reveal their true public natures to each other, and then also, Tom realizes he needs to be tied up and spanked by Taylor. That's the other thing that they realize.
