So it would appear that the bullies are embracing the very thing they used to bully you over. If that's the case, then I can see where the resentment comes from.

But "every popular looking player" seems a bit extreme. First off, popular looking does not necessarily mean popular, and being popular does not mean automatic bully. And while I'm sure a small percentage of them are douchey, you can't hold other people accountable for the awful things that some assholes did to you back in school.

Yeah, I don't know if I look popular (cause I don't know what that means) but I like to think I dress pretty nice, but I was unpopular and bullied in high school. You can't assume people's past on how they dress now?

Not to mention that people who look "popular" (I guess OP means classically good looking, well dressed people who look like they would have been popular due to their looks in school) now might not have looked as popular 20 years ago, either.
