I *never* play games on anything above the easiest possible setting. I'm here to experience the game and get a little satisfaction completing quests and beating up baddies. I'm not here to throw my controller at the screen while screaming in frustration (which actually happened last week on a tricky dungeon but that had more to do with the time of the month.)

^ This.

I might try some games on a harder difficulty once I've been through them several times (or if we're talking DDR and I'm actually in shape, then yeah let's talk the highest difficulty possible :p), but I'd rather enjoy the game than spend a week trying to get past one point and giving up. Which has happened recently. And the sad thing is that the game IS on its easiest level, which makes me feel like I'm a total failure and then it's not fun any more and yeah I don't want to even pick that game up any more.
