Depends on how the easy mode is structured for me. There are games that shouldn't be played on easy because the challenge is the entire point or the easy mode cuts out entire sections or puzzles or unique gameplay mechanics, but there are plenty of others where who gives a shit because you're in it for the story or experience and the battles are tedious.
