Re: What is the worst way you've woken up?
(Anonymous) 2016-09-03 08:38 pm (UTC)(link)And when I was younger and still in school, I got woken up just about every day to every other day by an emergency service at around 4-5 am. My grandfather had some sort of emergency button that had to be pressed every day before a certain time to signal he was still alive and if he didn't, it triggered an alarm. Which made the emergency service in charge of it phone us because he was living next door and tell us they hadn't received the alarm and we should go check on him.
So I got woken up several times a week thinking my grandfather could have died.
Re: What is the worst way you've woken up?
Huh. I've never heard of that kind of system. Is it something you have to buy yourself?
Re: What is the worst way you've woken up?
(Anonymous) 2016-09-03 08:57 pm (UTC)(link)You can get these for yourself here from certain emergency services who also monitor them. It is actually a pretty good thing provided the person in question doesn't constantly forget to push the button (or misplaces it).
