Chances are good you've been told about The Captive Prince series, by CS Pacat, but if not, check that out. The romance is good and there was also a surprisingly robust plot to it!

Er, how rapey does the story boil down to? I read the first chapter or so and thought the prose was good, but I'm easily squicked by noncon.
