Technically the performance group for We Are the World was USA (United Support of Artists)For Africa, but Michael Jackson wrote (all or a lot of) it and sang, too, so I'll allow it. :)

More or less correct on all of them. "We Are the World" was performed by USA for Africa (written by Michael Jackson and Lionel Richie), and was inspired by Band Aid's "Do They Know It's Christmas?"
