Well, he's only considered a big deal/the hottest thing ever in the Supernatural fandom, and if you're part of that fandom that probably skews your perspective of him as someone who could get a really beautiful woman. He's not one of those huge stars who can get supermodels if they want.

Walt/Jesse is really disgusting, and while I agree that lots of fandoms embrace really unhealthy ships, the BrBa fandom seems less aware of how fundamentally toxic this relationship is. There's a sense that the thing that makes it bad is just the age gap/Walt being mean to Jesse sometimes, as opposed to, like, constant abuse and manipulation on every possible level from day 1 (and, depending how you read it, since high school).

So I'm with you, anon, and I think this is a case where it goes beyond just "I don't like this ship."
