Uh, I'm not attracted to him, but there's not a doubt in my mind he could get a hot supermodel if he wanted. Are you serious right now? lol He's okay looking, not super hot, but he's a witty, rich, television star. Damn straight he could probably marry a hot person if he wanted, if yo don't think so, you must be really ignorant of all the actually ugly guys that marry supermodels.

(Anonymous) 2016-09-06 11:27 pm (UTC)(link)
He's not super rich, and I think being super rich is the main thing going on with those ugly-guy examples?

(Anonymous) 2016-09-06 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)
He's certainly rich enough, and a television star, and at very least, okay looking. No, sorry, you are deluded.

Plus, you know, some people don't marry others for looks, or money, or fame.

(Anonymous) 2016-09-06 11:33 pm (UTC)(link)
I agree that Misha can obviously get it, I'm more interested in your narrative that ugly men marrying gorgeous models is an everyday occurrence.

(Anonymous) 2016-09-06 11:36 pm (UTC)(link)
Wait, where in the world did I say that? Unless you're still trying to make off Misha as being an "ugly man" which is a claim I would think puts you in a tiny minority.

Ugly people marrying attractive people can and does happen, though. Yes, every day.

(Anonymous) 2016-09-06 11:37 pm (UTC)(link)
you must be really ignorant of all the actually ugly guys that marry supermodels.

That's the sentence I was talking about.

(Anonymous) 2016-09-06 11:45 pm (UTC)(link)
Okay. They exist. And that sentence was in tangent with my argument that Misha being successful means it's not going to be to difficult for him to marry someone very attractive.

Are you trying to argue otherwise?

My uncle is an ugly man (both in looks and personality), but he is one of the richest people according to Forbes, and he never had trouble finding supermodels to date. He chose not to marry them because he didn't want to, but I'm pretty sure he could have.

Plus, you know, some people don't marry others for looks, or money, or fame.

If you believe this, why do you talk about "hot" women as though they will automatically marry someone who is hot/rich/famous enough

(Anonymous) 2016-09-07 12:40 am (UTC)(link)
lmao at this attempt to white knight. You do know that women (and men) are not a monolith? Some hot women (and hot men) will marry for money/fame?

Did...you just call me a white knight?

Not sure if you think I'm male (lol) or if you are using that term in a completely new way I have never heard before.

You do know that women (and men) are not a monolith? Some hot women (and hot men) will marry for money/fame?

Uh-huh, but not all, and the comments above definitely carry the implication that that is a Thing Hot Women Do (universally). It has a major redpill vibe to me.

Lol nowhere was that said, so sounds like your own projecting.

And yes, you are white knighting.

Ok so what is your definition of "white knight" then?

(Anonymous) 2016-09-07 08:25 pm (UTC)(link)
NAYRT, I don't agree with them, but white-knighting, is, well, riding to the rescue (of "hot women? idk) on your white horse.

I've only ever seen it applied to men the accuser thought was trying to get laid or impress women. I've never seen anyone use the term to refer to a woman.

(Anonymous) 2016-09-07 09:18 pm (UTC)(link)
NAYRT, but I've mostly seen it applied to white /straight/cis/able people who are leaping to the defense of whatever minority they decide needs their protection, regardless of whether actual members of the group need or want defending. See: white people who declare that other white people eating sushi is oppressive.

That extrapoliation makes sense. I can see that. Still confused though as to how it would apply to me since I am a woman and was defending women.

Is he rich? The guys playing the brothers get paid a lot, but I don't know about the supporting actors.

(Anonymous) 2016-09-06 11:31 pm (UTC)(link)
I reckon he's better off than me.
