NAYRT, I don't agree with them, but white-knighting, is, well, riding to the rescue (of "hot women? idk) on your white horse.

I've only ever seen it applied to men the accuser thought was trying to get laid or impress women. I've never seen anyone use the term to refer to a woman.

NAYRT, but I've mostly seen it applied to white /straight/cis/able people who are leaping to the defense of whatever minority they decide needs their protection, regardless of whether actual members of the group need or want defending. See: white people who declare that other white people eating sushi is oppressive.
