I'm pretty sure you proved OP's point for her- it's way more acceptable in general for a hot girl to end up with an unattractive dude that it is for a hot guy to end up with an average or ugly woman. The respect comes from what they perceive as Misha bucking that trend/not going along with it just because he could.
