I've had to hide the remote from my bf before now when watching TV with him, he doesn't really care if he misses a few minutes whereas I hate it. What if I miss crucial information?? Or the characters pretty faces??

IT'S SO STRESSFUL TO ME

My mom and brother both compulsively skip around during breaks, and the result is that instead of watching one show I watch disjointed bits of 2-4 shows. Nothing is helped by the fact that my mom and brother both love shows I never watch otherwise anyways, so I'm literally always confused.

But yeah, my bf does that too. I won't give a crap if it's a show I don't care for but if I want to actually watch it? Boi, you are not getting that remote back for at least an hour.
