Yeah, this. If you've planned to be somewhere at a specific time with me, then I planned around being in a specific place at a specific time with you. Meaning someone who's late is wasting time I could have spent doing something other than wait for their rude ass. I don't have endless extra hours in my life to sit around twiddling my thumbs because someone else couldn't get their shit together and be responsible.

lol, this is a prime example of what I mean. Ten minutes kicking their heels, and they're pissing and moaning about "sitting twiddling their thumbs for endless hours."

So in other words, you have zero respect for anyone else's time but your own.

Ten minutes is nothing and understandable between friends, unless you're doing something with a concrete timeline. Like going to a play, concert, or the movies. Or getting married. I have a chronically late friend who was late to her own wedding this summer-- the ceremony started on time, but we were supposed to be there early to do some more setup and hopefully some pictures. The bride showed up barely 10 minutes before guests started coming.

It's even worse when there's no set time plan, just that we're getting together. Then, she's very likely to not even leave her home until 20 minutes or more after the start time that was set. I love her very dearly, but these habits are extremely frustrating to deal with every time we hang out.
