Well OP, media, literature, drama and music are the things that all help us if you do not have similar people around.

Bonus lolz: As a teen I had slow arse internet and that did not allow much porn oogling in the era before all those streaming sites. Hentai was rampant and popular with teens so yeah, I really did discover I am gay through yaoi (quite frankly - pretty bad ones).

Additional bonus lolz: My boyfriend did as well. Will never, ever let him live down his teen devart account. It had some awesome gems, including: 'one day I will go to a con to see all hot yaoi in action!'. Somehow it didn't occur to him that getting a date would be faster. Unfortunately the mythical con didn't happen, I happened :| .

Moral of this: Teenagers will be teenagers.
