See, I could see bringing that up to your friends. But I have (oh this sounds whiny) a fandom tumblr and it has about 500 followers and I have no freakin' clue what any of them have listed. Most I've never ever clicked on! It would rely on them following someone and the person going "Gee, I just got a new follower, I shall go search their page to find out what they want tagged!" It just seems like an awful system. I mean if they chose to follow my tumblr, why would I feel obligated to research this?

I mean as opposed to a RP site someone I know uses where you list off Yes things, Maybe things, and NO things to search profiles and help find compatible people to RP with, which makes sense!

I've seen some profiles where people list "here are things I tag, let me know if you need me to add a tag" so people who are proactive researching what/who they follow can take action to try to keep their dash the way they want it. I think that's better than announcing "you must tag this!" and expecting everyone to read it, but it's still not a perfect system because it relies on all parties being reasonable.

Then again, Tumblr is kind of a terrible system anyway.
