I really need to get on organizing the big bonus room upstairs and finishing packing the boxes I have so I can get the last of them that Mom and Dad still have.

I'm planning on turning it into a little art studio room. I still need to get a surface to replace my desk so I can set up my own desktop comp. I also need to clear some space for a drafting desk I want to get and fold the futon back up now that I'm sleeping in the old guest bedrooms. I should get the measurements of the space between the minifridge and the dresser.

And of course there's STILL the curtains to put on the window.

This room is a real fixer-upper. But having a studio of my own is enough motivation to get it done.

That's exciting!

I keep measurements on a note in my phone when I'm looking for something to fill a space. That way if I find something I have them with me. I also used to carry a tape measure in my handbag when I shopped just in case.
