I get the feeling he doesn't like Cap eirher considering how embarrassing he made him in the first Avengers and how he generally has no decent grasp on his character (though the "language" wank is overblown as Cap has chastised others for their pottymouths in the comics). Thank god Winter Soldier repaired all the damage Whedon did to his character and power level.

I'm also still miffed he had Vision lift Thor's hammer but not Cap, though now I understand why thanks to this new information.

Not sure if he actively dislikes him (and maybe Marvel would not allow him to say), but I'm certainly getting indifference in his writing.


The whole "language thing" and the previous "there's only one God and he doesn't dress like that", makes me thing he went for a very on-the-surface goody-two-shoes kind of interpretation of Steve's character, without trying to find out what makes him tick.
