I'm forced to ask customers how they're doing at work and I hate when they ask it back because I hate talking early in the morning and they don't give a shit how I'm doing and I don't give a shit how they're doing either. I have to ask, not an option on my part. I'm supposed to answer great or w/e and I don't care any more and just say fine. If I could get away with saying tired, I'd be happy. But nope, god forbid our customers leave feeling pity for us.
