Recently, a lot more, yes. And Texas drivers seem to be worse than drivers in other places I've been. I kind of suspect that the macho Texas culture translates to driving more aggressively.

LMFAO here in Colorado we stereotype Texan drivers so much! Someone driving really poorly or over-aggressively? YUP, their plates say Texas. 9 times out of 10 they're driving a pickup too.

We've noticed New Mexico-plate cars tend to be more calm and follow posted speed limits.

Ha. That doesn't surprise me at all. I'm from Boston, and Boston has lots of bad drivers, but they aren't nearly as aggressive as Texas drivers.

I drive to a lot of different states. Can confirm, the Most Aggressive Driver award goes to Texas, with Atlanta GA as the runner up.

Texas was the only state I reliably saw the breakdown lane doubling as a passing late.

I've lived in and visited lots of parts of the US and the WORST drivers I ever saw were in the very far northern part of California near the Oregon border.
