I always thought the line was more poking fun at people gossiping/obsessing about her love life a lot, which I think is fine. Yes, she does invite some of it because she also writes songs about (ostensibly) her love life, but I mean it's not like it's a bitter or furious line in the song. I don't particularly like her and I do feel like she can be pretty two-faced, like in her various feuds, but I don't have a problem with her liking to bone handsome gentlemen at her leisure.

nothing wrong with it in itself, but there is something wrong with the fact that she was kinda slut-shamey of other girls for doing so for a long time while she pretended to be pure and innocent (but was actually doing exactly what the other girls were doing herself)

and then she grew up. Are we holding what dumb stuff young teenagers do against them for their whole life?

I mean she is still pretty much doing that? She isn't writing songs that explicitly call other girls nasty names, but she is still trying to be the pure girl.

except for all her talking about growing up and ra ra girl power and sisterhood she still never apologized to Camilla Belle or Katy Perry which has been confirmed by both over twitter recently. plus she has a history of pitting other women against each other no matter how much she acts like a big all inclusive girsquad. so yeah, words =/= actions.
