I don't think you're focusing on the right part of that sentence.

I do agree that if you write about your break-ups in songs, people are going to talk about them. But I think it's the "too many" in that sentence that is actually the judgment that's being protested. And I have absolutely heard that judgment of her. Should other people get to say any number is too many for someone else? I don't think so.

came here to say this. They totally missed the "go on to many dates" part of the lyric. OP is too focused on making gossipy generalizations about her love life based upon a few of her pop songs- literally what Swift is singing about.
And I get the impression that her songs about breakups are all quite different, and probably more fictitious than people give them credit for, but that was based on a comment from a TSwift fan on F!S once so I can't say for sure....
