Re: What movie left you in awe/amazement?

Fight Club, but mainly because I didn't know anything about the movie when I rented it. (Lol, back in the day.)

The ending of The Talented Mr. Ripley. I love the whole movie, but the ending is perfect, and so heartbreaking, and so chilling.

Memento, to some degree.

There's this obscure Canadian apocalypse movie called Last Night. I had no idea what it was when I started watching it and it was really powerful to me. But I'm not sure whether it would hold up on a rewatch.

Pride and Prejudice (the movie, not the miniseries). I love the story, but I think it's mainly the cinematography that really moves me. It's such a gorgeous, sensuous, pleasure to watch. (Yeah yeah, some of you hate it, that's your prerogative, you'll simply never change my mind on the matter.)
