I don't feel like I can speak for other people. I don't want other people deciding what I am comfortable with calling myself, so why should I get to decide what other people are comfortable with calling themselves? I just don't like blanket statements like "queer is not a slur/was never a slur, so I should be able to always use it with others and they are wrong if they object to me using it for them." (Again, for them/one person, not for the community.)
