I think this, like so much on the internet, is really just one of those things that goes both ways. The fans feel slighted because people imply they're stupid for liking it, the non-fans are annoyed because people won't shut up about it, everyone just fuels each other's ~*~righteous indignation~*~ and it goes in circles.

Mmm...*thinks* The thing I don't really understand, though, is why so many people imply one is stupid for liking/disliking it. It sort of reminds me of ship wars, except...about fandom. I personally love Reborn, but I'd never think that EVERYONE who dislikes it is dumb. And I can admit that the manga is flawed, but...idk. I'm not sure why it suddenly becomes EVERYONE ELSE'S PROBLEM if someone likes or dislikes it, or why people take so much offense either way. But hey, fandom's never made much sense, sooooo. *shrugs* So long as the majority can agree to disagree, I'm cool.

I'M SORRY FOR THE RAMBLY REPLY. This is just one of those things that makes me sort of confused/irritated/o.O-ish.

omg i kno rite. It's just different taste, so why do people make it into anything more than that? I know I get all fuzzy inside when I convince someone to read it who thought it was stupid, and they end up liking it, but I don't expect them to like it, and I don't think less of them if they don't. I can see where the way the story is set up could be a huge turn-off to someone who doesn't want to go through seven volumes to get to the plot, anyway, so I'm not about to call them on that. :S
