I don't like hearing people say "well, it's ok if it's only THEIR kids". No! Their kids are not just an extension of themselves, and kids deserve medical care. It is not okay to put other people in danger and I would argue ESPECIALLY if that person if your child.

(Anonymous) 2016-09-15 01:12 pm (UTC)(link)So drinking unpasteurized milk you bought from a farmer is pretta safe, just like it usually is in developing countries and has been for people who keep cows and other milk-producing cattle, for milennia. However the risk of contamination grows with how much the milk is handled and transported, so it makes sense to only have pasteurized milk in supermarkets.
Also I don't give it to my kindergarten kid. When she's 6+ I'm going to let her eat sushi and raw eggs, and I'll probably also let her drink raw milk.
