I particularly remember watching spirited away the first time, I was around chihiro's age. and I never could've done any of that stuff, but there's this one bit where she runs across a pipe and it like breaks off and she clings to the ladder on the other side. I couldn't have done it! I would've fallen!! also the trick question at the end where none of the pigs are her parents, I totally would've fallen for it. so not cut out to be a miyazaki heroine.

Apparently Miyazaki was implying some sort of ESP between kids and parents in that scene. No, I didn't get that either.
