Nah, the BBC might have a trend of types of people they have on (the older granny one, the masculine man with a masculine job but all the blokes at work love his baking, the yummy mummy who stays at home on the farm, the ethnic one or two etc) but they generally get nice and fairly normal people. Channel 4 are going to go for weird, unusual 'characters' to try and create more inter-baker drama, a la bingate.
