The "fair" is in town so I will probably walk over to it and grab something terrible to eat. I'm also planning on making some pizza dough. My sister and her family have never had homemade pizza so I am going to invite them over to eat it. Other than that, not doing much of anything.

Still have a bad cold. My face feels like I have weights on it. Hopefully I can get some Spanish done and some job searching, but other than that my plans involve sleeping, taking meds, and watching Rizzoli and Isles.

Also working on two fics. One a very short little ficlet featuring frottage and voice kink, and the other a longer thing featuring dominance switching (one character starts out as in charge, then it switches).

They were eliminated from postseason contention yesterday, and I'll be sure to be seeing a whole bunch of lousy pitchers who will undoubtedly lose, but I AM EXCITE.

I AM THAT EXCITE.

Also, they're playing the Blue Jays, so I'll see the player I went to high school with, who occasionally does stuff like this. And, y'know, there's that Trout guy, who also does that stuff.

I'm glad you're excited to go. I honestly feel bad for you guys, though - what that front office has done to build around Trout has been criminal.

It's a quiet weekend for me, I might check out the cinema to see if anything interesting is on but most likely I'll be playing WoW or watching some TV.

Mainly just prepping for classes this week, which should take less time this week as I'm doing stuff I know pretty well and that doesn't require a huge amount of prep. I'm hoping to get some nice relaxing knitting in, maybe even in a park if weather permits.

Awesome. Are you a student or teacher? What are you knitting?

I ordered the box set with the first four seasons of Digimon and it's supposed to get here tomorrow, so hopefully I'll be binge-watching it.

I hope it comes on time! That should keep you busy for a while. :D

My character study for opera class is due on Tuesday, so I want to get a jump on it. It's two pages full of questions, as detailed as the character sheets we used to fill out for OCs. I've been having fun with Ruth (from Pirates of Penzance), have decided she comes from Mousehole, has a giant reticule full of stuff like a chatelaine (for when she marries Frederic), a couple of penny dreadfuls, and a tin of tea, and that she knows a LOT of stories about pinkies and Jan Tregeagle and water folk and wrecking. Especially wrecking: you probably don't have to go back too far in Ruth's family tree to find a wrecker or three.

Why do you do detailed character studies? Is it to help you get in the mindset of the character? Or is just one part of a larger class (like how drama majors take classes like writing and such)?

Homemade pizza sounds so delicious.

Tonight I went to a Lularoe party (it's like a tupperware party, but for clothes) and tomorrow is shopping in the morning with errands and then a housewarming party. Somehow baking a rum cake in between and then Sunday working as always!

I want to get something fried on a stick. I just don't know what.

I've never seen those kind of parties for clothes. That is pretty cool. I've only ever seen them for tupperware and sex toys. :P

Getting drunk and hanging out with friends. I posted recently about missing being single and wanting to break up with my boyfriend; finally did the thing, so trying to distract myself from the feelings and start moving on.

I hope you enjoy your pizza! I never got the hang of home made pizza, the dough is difficult to get right with gluten free flour.

Have fun! I hope you are able to enjoy partying with your friends. :D

Stay calm, try not to worry about my pension situation, and spend any money. Mum birthday is on Monday and I have promised pizza from the pizza place down around the corner, who a step above Pizza Hut and Dominoes in quality and do gluten free pizzas. If I get a good offer in email, I will go as high as $50, but I have a shop-a-docket voucher that might be down around $30 for two pizzas and a calzone.

I also may need a cure for a earworm - I have the theme song for "The Last Unicorn" stuck in my head because I found the full movie on YouTube and watched it last night.

I'm sorry you are having such a terrible money situation. I hope whatever the problem is gets resolved soon. Enjoy eating pizza with your mother. :)
