YES!
My mother does this a lot "Oh but you have such nice small hands" and I keep telling her that I don't really appreciate it because I hate my small stubby fingers but she doesn't see why it bothers me despite my explanations.
(I don't have a hand fetish but I do prefer long, slim fingers as well.)

yeah it drives me insane when people don't get it and keep saying how cute and tiny my hands look lol

I basically wear long fake nails whenever I can to create the illusion of longer, slimmer fingers

Yep, same reason I try to grow out my nails as long as I can when possible. Not usually too long, though, but oh well.

It's pretty annoying and also inconvenient. Like, I stopped playing the piano because the span of my hand made it too difficult to properly play two keys that were about an octave apart. But oh no, such small hands, so nice!

I stopped playing piano in my teens because my fingers are too short... I can still play, but I can't do it "properly" so bye bye career

I was never talented and most of all ambitious enough to want to get in any professional direction with it but it still was pretty frustrating...
