Today I had a friend rant to me for ten minutes about how annoying it was when people bashed your favorite pairing and should just suck it up and ignore pairings they don't like. If you don't have anything nice to say, and all. And how many people feel the need to act like it's so important you know they hate your pairing.

Then they saw I'd posted a new fic with a pairing they hated.

And spent a while ranting to me about how 'gross' they found my pairing.
