Hmm, I loved DD, enjoyed JJ, but I'm less into Breaking Bad and not too fond of The Wire (though I acknowledge the writing is good on both of those)...so I guess I'll just have to see.

Good music cinematography is a huge bonus!

Same as you, I wasn't really into LC in the comics, eitrher, but that goes for JJ, too.

My main worry was not having an interesting villain as DD and JJ do, or that a "bruiser" character would be less interesting as a superhero.

Hoping for the best.

The villain's not rubbish! Thank god. I did find Kilgrave more menacing, but that was mainly due to his powers.
This villain simply oozes evil tho, which is good.
