Wait, do you mean you're gender-fluid, or just that you don't act super-girly all the time? This one feels like it may be a very long troll.

It's pretty obvious that the OP is saying that she's a girl, but she's fine presenting in a masculine way sometimes (like Haruhi).

I'm not quite clear what she means by "presenting." That's the question. Is it just, "I don't care if you think I'm male," or something else?

DA
Yes, I understood it this way: people perceiving her as male doesn't diminish her female gender identity.
I guess this is the same way drag queens present as female for show but mostly still have a male gender identity.

I think OP is just one of the people who go "oh, I don't care about gender, I don't care if people think I'm a girl or not" and then immediately follow it with "don't you dare think of me as anything other than a girl! I'm a GIRL! Definitely not a man or nonbinary person! A GIIIIIIIIRRRRLLL! It's very important to me that everyone recognizes it!".

IME, most people who "don't care about gender" are like this.

so you don't believe girls can not care about how they're perceived? lovely person you are

(Anonymous) 2016-09-21 05:38 pm (UTC)(link)
I do. But I don't beleive that girls who care about being perceived as girls don't care about being perceived as girls. That's contradictory.

What you don't seem to grasp is that a person can be secure enough in their gender identity that them being perceived as the opposite gender wouldn't bother them too much. OP sounds bothered that people assume that this can't possibly be the case, that if you are comfortable with being perceived as male must mean you're secretly trans/nb/genderfluid instead of female.

I am a girl != I care about being perceived as a girl

Not only non-binary can not care != I care

You sound bitter tbh. We get it, you identify as nonbinary.
