As someone else said, depending on the building, normal TV settings might already be audible.

Sure, if they're throwing parties or dancing around, by all means complain - but it is sort of hard to expect someone not to watch TV if they have a different day rhythm. But only you can judge if it's excessive noise, of course.

Thanks! Again, I don't know many of my other neighbors so I can't tell what you can and can't hear from one floor to the other, which is also where I don't know if I'm overreacting or not.

With this neighbor, the one evening she was yelling with her daughter so loudly I could hear each word. Plus her TV is loud enough that you hear it over mine.

Again, neighbor above me, sure I hear her walking around and taking a shower, general noises. And I can deal with that. But when I'm in my bedroom after 10PM watching my TV before I fall asleep and your TV is louder than mine? Then we have a problem.

Sorry, I'm just frustrated and I don't know what to do because I don't want to cause a scene because I did just move in but I bought the place so I'm here long term.
