I LOVED the first three books, read them in 2001, the wait for AFFC almost killed me and for what?? Nothing, that book was such a disappointment. Then ADWD came out years later, I forgot I had preordered it and was surprised one day with the package on my door, I read 2 sentences and had to quit -- I was so done with GRRM's writing style. Still, I caught up via online summaries and discussion.

Because, goddamnit, i am invested in this world and simply must know what happens to Sansa, Littlefinger, Jaime, and Brienne.. Only then can my soul be at peace.
